Gift of the month clubs, are organizations or clubs that gift a multitude of items once a month, every month to subscribers. Most people love the thought of gifts that keep on materializing, like monthly magazine subscriptions. For such people there are monthly gift clubs for nearly any taste or budget. These clubs are also an ideal way to express gratitude or congratulations and are an absolute favorite for corporate gift giving occasions. There are gift of the month clubs for all instances such as for saying thank you, wishing someone to get well, showing sympathy, for holidays, for Christmas as well as for corporate and business reasons. The original idea
It appears that the primary reason for setting up of such clubs was to give incentives to the administrative and managerial staff as well as executives of companies. Employees who showed promise or did good work were rewarded with a gift that arrived at their doorstep every month for one whole year. Over a period of time, this service was extended to include clients who needed to be obliged and kept in good humor.
Present position
Nowadays these gift of the month clubs (and there are literally hundreds of thousands of them) have also gone personal and expanded their services to include families and friends of individuals. The services may vary from providing gifts every month for a year to once every two months or only for a couple of months; and, the price also varies from $ 35 for a two shipment gift to $ 1000 for a year's gift of some gourmet food item.
